	The Cesar E. Chavez Memorial in San Fernando, CA honors the civil rights leader who was awarded the Medal of Freedom by Pres. Clinton in 1994. Cesar Chavez was a role model for the world who proved one person could impact the social conscience of a nation. His struggles as a farm worker motivated his life devotion to non-violent social change for the improvement in the quality of life for farm workers. THE CESAR E.
