Golden key camp now owns a camp!!! We recently purchased a retired church youth camp!!! We’re restoring the property and updating it to create a year-round retreat for kids who are diagnosed with cancer.

We have accomplished many improvements already. But there’s a lot to do and our goal for this winter is to continue making updates and improvements throughout the winter to be open by June of 2025, to welcome our very important guests and their families.

We are reaching out to sponsors and the community for support to get the repairs needed to be up and running by June. The children and their families that we welcome here will never have to pay for their visits at Golden Key Camp they can visit a day or a week. It will be a retreat like none other and a haven
for terminally ill children fighting for their lives.

We are celebrating this victory of childhood cancer awareness by getting the word out on our vision and our goals and seeking sponsors each willing to donate or raise $250, Each willing to donate or raise $250 will get an engraved brick and our very needed handicap accessible walkway. And for every $600 you
donate or raise to Golden Key Camp you will be giving a child who is fighting cancer ,.. and their family a week vacation at Golden Key Camp, we can’t cure their cancer unfortunately but we can meet them where they are in the diagnosis and offer love and joy in the fight!

The bricks will be laid in The walkway trail that leads from the dining hall to the clubhouse and then leads to the handicap all accessible playground
we will be adding! The path that is there now is not wheelchair friendly whatsoever with a rocky – uneven surface with tree roots. This flat brick paper path will provide children accessibility with any physical challenge to move around and enjoy the amenities waiting for them at Golden Key Camp year-round. The funds raised will afford the walkway project, the updates needed at the camp, and an incredible all-inclusive playground!

Some business, Organizations offices, stores, shops etc. We’re willing to donate from their company or personally, and some have been willing to do a match program where they raise $250 and donate $250. We are very grateful for any donations in any amount. $20 or $250 or perhaps there’s a larger number in
your budget for a donation.

These precious children have a little bit more of a normal life and they’re very uncertain difficult life.
