Miss Hickory’s beloved Farmhands program is flourishing, and we’re excited to announce our next big step—expanding to include an indoor/outdoor classroom! Until now, our classes have been held solely outdoors, where the unpredictable Arizona weather has occasionally limited our ability to serve students. This new classroom will allow us to host more sessions year-round, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn about sustainable farming, no matter the weather. 🚜🏫✨
If you know Miss Hickory you know what an impact she makes on each child that comes to Farmhands. They leave learning so much about where food comes from and some learn to love veggies!! (Can you even believe it!??) 😍
Our mission at the Arizona Urban Agriculture Foundation is to inspire the next generation of farmers and we do this through our farm to school program. ⭐️🌾 Your donation will directly impact the education of future generations, helping them understand where their food comes from and how to care for the earth. 🌍💚
