Freedom Elementary School welcomed students in 1955 and has been providing high quality education to students in grades K-5 for the past 65 years. We currently teach over 500 students every year in the Eldersburg and Sykesville areas. Our school is cozy and quaint for all of these students, making outdoor space invaluable. Unfortunately, our playground equipment was given a failing bill of health and we need to invest in new equipment. We know our roots run deep in this community and we are looking to bring some of our alumni together with our current students to make amazing playground improvements for the whole community to enjoy. We would love to enhance the brick walkway leading to the new playground with engraved bricks from those who have such fond memories of the school. Please consider purchasing a brick to support the project!
