Second Step’s most ambitious construction project to date, The Meadows, will open its doors in July 2018. The Meadows is a 30-unit, affordable apartment building designed to provide stable homes for people living with low incomes and families recovering from homelessness.

The Meadows features a number of community gathering spaces intended to promote resident interaction and build a sense of community.  The grounds include a community center, central laundry facility, playground, community garden, and open plaza spaces.  The site is located on a major transit corridor and within walking distance to grocery, shopping and service centers. This location will allow residents to access services and job opportunities without traveling long distances from their homes.

Our goal with The Meadows is to create more affordable housing while also building a stronger community here in Clark County.  Thank you for joining us in this effort.
